Andorlie has been teaching Musical Theatre to children for over 30 years. Her students have worked at The Shaw Festival, The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, on US National Tours, on Broadway and have starred in popular film and television programs.
But that's not what she is most proud of. Nothing gives her greater joy than sharing her love of the arts with everyone she meets - and watching her students bloom into not only incredible artists, but incredible PEOPLE.
As moving from Saskatchewan to Niagara on the Lake was an opportunity unlocked for Andorlie, she too wanted to unlock arts education opportunities for Niagara Youth.
Peter Pan was the first production that YDTP presented after being founded in 2015. It was also the first theatre production to perform in the brand new FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.

Hansel & Gretel did not go live the first year due to the Pandemic, but YDTP was able to revive and complete the production in a live theatre environment the following year.
The Little Prince was the second Canadian written musical production produced and performed by YDTP. The numbers of young performers auditioning for the company doubled from the initial year.
Wind in the Willows was the first original commissioned musical that was written by writers from the Niagara Region. All Canadian!
Robin Hood move to the Robertson Theatre in the FOPAC and marked a new direction for the technical aspects of the annual productions with a full set & professionally designed projections added for the first time.
Red Letter Day was created out of a sense of need for the Teens in the Niagara Region. This film went on the be publicly screened and has won several awards for excellence.
Nobody's Children was originally entitled "The Piper". The project was shelved due to lack of funding, but ultimately went into further development and was successfully performed at the FOPAC in 2022.
Yellow Door has grown to now boast a full year performance company, fun summer programs and year round reCREATIONal classes for all skill levels. And we can't wait to see where we go next!

Our studio welcomes all children and is a 2LGBTQI+ friendly space.
